Zoom bots on your own storage now write recordings to your bucket
- 1fixed
Zoom bots on teams with their own S3 storage now write recordings, audio and transcripts to the team's bucket instead of failing. Integrators who use bring-your-own-storage together with Zoom SDK credentials should read on; no request changes are required, and Google Meet and Microsoft Teams bots are unchanged.
Bug Fixes
- Zoom bots created with Zoom SDK credentials on a team with bring-your-own-storage uploaded to the wrong bucket name, so nothing reached the team's bucket. The
TRANSCRIBINGevent pointed at<bot_id>/output.mp4, but the file was never written, and about 30 seconds later the bot ended withbot.failedand error codeTRANSCRIPTION_FAILED. Zoom bots now upload the video, audio, chat, diarization and audio chunks to the bucket in the team's storage configuration, and transcription runs on them.
